Barchester – Shelburne Lodge

WCR completed a comprehensive refurbishment of the first-floor Dementia Unit at this care home, while the facility remained fully occupied. The project involved decommissioning three bedrooms and en-suites to create a larger day space for residents. In addition, we carried out a full lighting upgrade and made necessary adjustments to the fire alarm and nurse call systems to align with the new layout.

The 16-week project was carefully managed to ensure minimal disruption to residents, with their needs being a top priority throughout.
